Children's
Ministry
|
Blue
Springs Baptist Church Children's program is
specifically designed for children to learn about God in a fun
and enjoyable environment. Our goal is to provide fun and adventure for
your children while teaching them basic Biblical truths.
Imagine the
unimaginable . . . a children's ministry that is child-targeted; where the
Bible is creatively taught and expressed, where its truths are presented
in a relevant way; where leading children is intentional; and discovering
God's truth is fun! Our goal is to make our children's program the best
hour in every kid's week. We always strive to make
Children's church a safe and secure place
where each boy and girl can laugh and play, enjoy learning about Jesus,
and receive answers and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Our leaders are
committed to support and supplement families as they seek to lay the
spiritual foundation for their children, so that each child will come to
know Jesus personally and will radiate the love and hope of God to their
friends and family.
Just as Noah,
Joseph, and Daniel lived the adventure and experienced God in their
everyday lives, your children will discover the life-long adventure that
comes when they invite God to be a part of their lives. We want to move
children to recognize that God is everything they need!

What's available for
students?
|

Our students will be
exposed to and experience God's incredible love for them
in a way that is real, relevant, relaxed and relational.
If the idea church is new to your son or daughter,
they'll definitely want to start out in
Vertical and Elevation Students. For each
student service, we
gather together for an action packed program that
includes music, games, videos, skits, a fun lesson or
message from God's word and
more.
Recent studies show that today's young teenagers are
more stressed and anxious than ever before. Our student
ministry hopes to be a place of to relax, have fun and
build relationships.
Can you imagine a church experience where you don't have
to drag your junior higher out of bed to get them to go?
Vertical and Elevation Students could be that place.

Connection
Groups

|
As our
church has grown larger, we have also, in a sense,
gotten 'smaller.' We do that by encouraging every member
(1) to be a part of a "connection group and (2) to be
involved in serving. Some teams are service or
ministry based, such as our prayer partners, Praise
or Ministry Teams. Others are fellowship based,
like our Neighborhood family development teams. Some
teams are affinity based, including our couples
or student groups. Other teams provide opportunities to
practice Christian community by fulfilling the great
"one another" texts found in the New Testament. We offer
opportunities for Bible study, prayer, and exploring the
Christian faith.
